Our companyABOUT Electron Beam

Electron Beam Technologies has been servicing the welding industry for more than 50 years. Located 50 miles south of Chicago, IL we are perfectly located to service not only the entire United States, but the entire world.

We specialize in the design and manufacture of customized MIG cable, for applications from small hobby units up to high volume robotic welding systems. We design and build to OEM requirements using our custom blend of polyethylene, which is cross linked by one of our three electron beams to be incredibly resistant to weld spatter. Our proprietary POLY-XL® jacketing compound has outstanding cut resistance, UV resistance and tear strength.

Electron Beam Technologies also manufactures plasma cable, wire rope, custom tubing, standard welding cable and electrode conduit and conduit accessories. Feel free to reach out to us so that we can help you design a custom product to suit your exact needs!

Eric

Joined Electron Beam in 2019 where he serves as President.
Has spent 15 years in Lean Transformation Leadership in various roles including Operations Leader in assembly and manufacturing and a Regional Leadership role in the healthcare services industry.
Received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 1996.

Heidi

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 2023 where she serves as CFO.
Previously served as Accounting Manager in the transportation industry and Plant Accountant for Crown, Cork and Seal.
Received a B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University in 1993.

Greg

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 2016 where he served as Plant Manager for two years before assuming his current role as VP of Manufacturing.
Previously served as Production Supervisor / Engineer (one year) and Engineer III (five years) at CSL Behring
Received a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Truman State University in 1989.

Steve

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 1990 where he served as Design Engineer (four years) and Chief Engineer (fifteen years), before assuming his current position as VP of Engineering.
Graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, in 1986.

Jacob

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 2018 where he serves as Project Manager and Design Engineer.
Previously served as a Design Engineer/Program Manager (3 years) at tier I automotive supplier.
Received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2014.

Kim

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 2010 where she serves the position of Customer Service Representative.
Previously served 15 years as Office/Warehouse Manager in the transportation industry.

Julie

Joined Electron Beam Technologies in 1995 where she started in Order entry/Shipping for 3 years before she was given the position of Customer Service Representative.
